Blockchain Network Propagation Mechanism Based on P4P Architecture

Blockchain is a mainstream technology in which many untrustworthy nodes work together to maintain distributed ledger with advantages such as decentralization, traceability, and tamper-proof. The network layer communication mechanism its architecture the core of networking method, message propagation, data verification among blockchain nodes, basis ensure blockchain’s performance key features. When blocks are propagated peer-to-peer (P2P) networks gossip protocol, high propagation delay protocol itself reduces speed blocks, prone chain forking phenomenon causes double payment attacks. To accelerate reduce fork probability, this paper proposes based on proactive provider participation for P2P (P4P) architecture. This first obtains information topology link status region internet service (ISP), then it calculates shortest path overhead peer using P4P technology, prioritizes good local bandwidth conditions transmission, realizes optimization node connections, improves quality (QoS) experience (QoE) networks, enables exchange transactions through secure path. Simulation experiments show that proposed outperforms original terms system overhead, rate success routing hops, delay.
